We are looking for a new team member to help support the work of our existing kitchen staff. As we are fortunate to have strong and experienced qualified Chefs managing our kitchen, along with committed trainees building their skills, we are now ideally looking for someone with proven kitchen experience to help us prep and manage service. Ideally you will have a couple of years experience of cooking and working in kitchens. Although an advantage, you don’t need to have professional cookery qualifications – what would be more desirable is a love of cooking good food and the ability to confidently follow instruction and recipes without the need for supervision. The role will involve helping the team to prepare and cook dishes prior to service and also helping to cook and present dishes during service. You must be able to work on your own and as part of a team. Good references are essential. Days and hours of work will be negotiable, but could be mainly dayshifts, weekdays or weekends or a mixture.
