Wine Club Event – Bonfire Night!

We are so pleased to be able to host our first Wine Club Event for a while!  Join us on Friday 5th November to enjoy a ‘fire cracking’ range of carefully selected wines from our supplier, matched to seasonally creative dishes put together by our kitchen team.  Tickets are £30 to Wine Club Members and it’s free to sign up!

Firecracker – cold salad of charred and smoked sweetcorn, chilli, coriander, red onion and aioli
Hot Dog – our recipe Italian sausage with buttered and fried onions sandwiched between thinly sliced brioche
Warm Cup of Bovril – slow cooked oxtail in beef and tomato broth
Jacket Spud – potato shell filled with smoked haddock, chives, cream and potato (cullen skink)
Bonfire Toffee – bonfire toffee scented ice cream with toasted marshmallow

Christmas at Oblò 2021

This year we are delighted to be hosting 6 Party Nights on each weekend in December, so you can come along to eat, drink & dance the night away!

Our Christmas Menu will be available from 3rd to 24th December – booking is recommended and a non-refundable deposit will be required for larger parties and party nights.

New Food Service Hours

Please note that on Mondays & Tuesdays at present we are unable to serve food.  We are still open from 10am to serve hot & cold drinks, cocktails and home baking, with our Breakfast Ciabattas served from 10am until Midday Wednesdays to Sundays and our Bistro Menu served from Midday until 9pm Wednesdays to Sundays.  Thank you

Staff Vacancy – Chef

We are looking to recruit a Permanent Chef as soon as possible. You need to be an experienced chef who can work our busy pizza bench, prepare starters and desserts, handle stove work and manage the pass under the supervision of our existing Head Chef and his team. Associated qualifications such as food hygiene essential and professional cookery preferable. You must have excellent communication skills, be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure. Candidates must be able to provide good previous employment references and be available to work a mixture of shifts over 5 days a week. You need to have a passion for cooking and a commitment to working in hospitality, especially during this testing time.
